Location: New Jersey, U.S.A

Significance: Akshardham is the biggest Hindu Temple In New Jersey USA, The temple complex sits on 162 acres in Robbinsville. Around 2,000 artisans in Rajasthan hand-crafted the temple using two stones Italian and Rajasthani marble. The finished pieces are assembled in New Jersey by a team of master craftsmen.

About: Akshardham Temple was inaugurated and opened to the public on 10 August 2014. The temple was built according to principles laid out in the Shilpa Shastras, Hindu texts prescribing standards of sacred architecture. The temple has a prayer hall with seating for 1000 people. A decorative mandap, or enclosure, was built around the mandir to shield it from harsh weather and facilitate its year-round use

5.SHIVA VISHNU TEMPLE


God: Lord Shiva and Vishnu

Location: Broward country, South Florida

Significance: The construction of Shiva Vishnu temple began in the year 1999 with the help of 12 architects from Mahabalipuram, The architectural style of the shrine belongs to Chola and Pallava for Shiva and Parivar shrines and Vijayanagara dynasty period for Venkateshwara and Parivar shrines.

About: The temple has two buildings, With two raja entrance towers and two Vimana towers over each of the main Shiva and Vishnu shrines. The total area is approximately 6200 sq. feet, The temple started from November 23, 2001. It has a capacity for 300 people to occupy and it is available for weddings, various celebrations and cultural activities. The other deities include Lord Ayyappa, Goddess Saraswati, Lord Muruga, Goddess Lakshmi, Lord Krishna, Lord Ram, Lord Ganapathi and Lord Anjaneya.
